1. INTRODUCE YOURSELF IN THE THIRD PERSON TO A CROWD OF 10,000+ PEOPLE? Tom Cox is a visionary thinker redefining the way we connect with technology and each other.
Originally From Johannesburg, he now lives in Berlin where he is currently exploring the potential of large language models to democratise brand building and disrupt the advertising industry.
2. WHAT IS YOUR DEFINITION OF A TRUTH FOUNDER? A Truth Founder leads with integrity and is driven to share and realise their vision of a better world.
3. WHAT EVENT OR EVENTS HAPPENED TO YOU THAT INSPIRED YOU TO BECOME A FOUNDER?
Having entered into the world of advertising agencies with a dream of building creative solutions to complex problems. I realised that creativity was far from a priority for most ad agencies whose business models have more to do with the 1950's than a digital world.
With my first child on the way and an incredible life partner along for the ride - I set off with the idea of 'building cool shit with startups'. Now I've simplified that down to 'build a startup'.
4. WHAT IS YOUR MORNING ROUTINE & RITUAL? The mornings are a carefully orchestrated juggling act of getting children fed, teeth brushed and drinking enough coffee to make it to 9am.
5. WHAT MANTRA,QUOTE,LINE OR PHRASE DO YOU SAY OFTEN TO INSPIRE AND MOTIVATE YOURSELF? There's something happening here and you don't know what it is, do you Mr Jones?
Bob Dylan is always a reminder to keep and open mind and listen to younger generations.
6. WHY DO YOU THINK PEOPLE SHOULD CARE ABOUT YOUR VENTURE? It's pretty clear that machine learning is set to change the world in ways we haven't yet imagined. I think it's critical to think about what tasks we automate and which we want to do ourselves, and work on using AI to level the playing field, giving more people the chance and tools they need to chase their dreams.
7. WHY DO YOU THINK YOU ARE THE ONE TO MAKE YOUR VENTURE A SUCCESS?
My blend of technical ability and background in the art and philosophy makes me uniquely positioned to realise the impact of using AI to augment human creativity.
8. WHAT DOES SUCCESS LOOK LIKE FOR YOUR VENTURE? ( START WTIH: IMAGINE A WORLD... WHAT IF...WE WILL BE... )
Imagine a world where the products that were actually good for us and the planet had as much chance of getting our attention as overpriced VR goggles and sugary drinks.

10. WHAT'S ONE DECISION YOU MADE AS A FOUNDER THAT COMPLETELY CHANGED THE COURSE OF YOUR JOURNEY? Relocating to Berlin. Taking a deep dive in learning generative AI.
11. WHAT DO YOU REGARD AS YOUR GREATEST SUCCESS PERSONALLY & AS A FOUNDER? My greatest success personally is my relationship with my kids as a founder, having the conviction to stick to a line of experimentation until it gets results.
12. WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT YOURSELF AND WHY? My ability to learn new things - the ability to grapple with different fields of thought has opened me up to an endless stream of ideas.
13. WHAT'S ONE THING YOU CAN IMPROVE ABOUT YOURSELF, AND WHY DO YOU THINK YOU HAVE NOT DONE IT BY NOW?
I could improve my confidence. My self critical nature is a double edged sword that's pretty hard to put down.
14. WHAT'S THE BEST PIECE OF ADVICE YOU'VE EVER RECEIVED OR GIVEN, OR BOTH?
Just do it.
15. ON A SCALE FROM 1 TO 10 - 10 BEING THE BEST. HOW WELL DO YOU THINK YOU AND YOUR TRUTH STORY IS CLEARLY UNDERSTOOD BY YOUR COMMUNITY? ( WHY NOT 10? ) 7 - I could be better about telling it more clearly.
16. WHO DO YOU MOST ADMIRE AND WHY? Haruki Murakami. For fearlessly blending magic and reality and taking the world along for the ride.

We are working with industry leaders in branding to craft and AI that will help you craft your brand and keep it consistent; Saving you time and frustration dealing with marketing teams and allowing you to work smarter with the best creatives.
18. WHAT IS YOUR CURRENT MISSION STATEMENT OR MESSAGE + MARKET FIT FOR YOUR VENTURE?
We aim to democratise brand creation, allowing young companies to focus on building great products with the confidence that they have the ability to communicate the value they create.
19. WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO TO UNWIND AFTER A LONG WORK DAY?
I love cooking for my family while listening to jazz, funk, electro or some weird mashup of all 3.
