Tegan Spinner is a passionate entrepreneur dedicated to making a positive impact on the world. After moving from Silicon Valley to Copenhagen, he has successfully built projects aligned with his values.
Tegan excels in uniting talented individuals and inspiring them towards a common vision, leading to the founding of Worthmore, a company that demonstrates how purpose and profit can coexist. 2. WHAT IS YOUR DEFINITION OF A TRUTH FOUNDER?
A Truth Founder, in my view, is an entrepreneur who builds their venture on a foundation of authenticity and personal values. It's someone who doesn't just create a business, but weaves their own life experiences, passions, and beliefs into the very fabric of their company.
I believe you are what you put out in to the world - so I make a point of trying my best to be aware of what I am creating, and the impact it will have on others.
3. WHAT EVENT OR EVENTS HAPPENED TO YOU THAT INSPIRED YOU TO BECOME A FOUNDER?
My journey to becoming a founder was sparked by a fascination with the power that products have to launch movements. One moment along my journey that stands out is when, as a kid, I read an article about the iPhone in a Popular Science magazine before its official launch. Even then, I could envision how this device would revolutionize the way people connect and interact, and I knew I wanted to be part of a team or company that developed something that shifted the way the world operates.
This early exposure to groundbreaking technology set me on a path of curiosity and innovation. As I grew older, my passion for creating impactful products only intensified. I began to see entrepreneurship as a vehicle not just for business success, but for driving meaningful change in society.
My move from Silicon Valley to Copenhagen further shaped my vision. I saw an opportunity to blend the innovative spirit I admired in tech with the values-driven approach of Nordic business culture. This culminated in the founding of Worthmore, where we strive to create products and services that not only connect people in new ways but also demonstrate how purpose and profit can coexist harmoniously.
4. WHAT IS YOUR MORNING ROUTINE & RITUAL? Sleeping in until I am ready to wake up - I haven't used an alarm clock in years and I do not plan to anytime soon. Launching a business is a whole lot of effort with not many rewards in the beginning - one of the few great perks is freedom and flexibility, so I think it's important to enjoy some of the perks of not taking the more stable and predictable route.

I Don't Believe... organizations aiming to make a difference in the lives of others need to rely on charity alone.
10. WHAT'S ONE DECISION YOU MADE AS A FOUNDER THAT COMPLETELY CHANGED THE COURSE OF YOUR JOURNEY? One decision that completely changed the course of my journey as a Founder was moving to the Nordics from Silicon Valley. I believe that Nordic values—such as transparency, social responsibility, and community focus—represent the future of business.
Embracing this environment has allowed me to be part of a growing ecosystem that prioritizes heart and purpose. This shift not only aligns with Worthmore's mission but also inspires innovative approaches to business that can drive meaningful change.
The collaborative spirit and commitment to social impact in the Nordics have profoundly influenced our vision, positioning us to redefine the telecom industry in a way that benefits both people and the planet.
11. WHAT DO YOU REGARD AS YOUR GREATEST SUCCESS PERSONALLY & AS A FOUNDER? Personally, one of my greatest successes has been my journey as a community builder and influencer. I've been able to leverage my experiences and insights to inspire and connect with others in the entrepreneurship and sustainability spaces. This has allowed me to create a platform for sharing ideas and driving positive change, which aligns closely with my personal values.
As a founder, my greatest success has undoubtedly been the creation and growth of Worthmore - I resonate deeply with the mission to prove that doing good is good business and look forward to scaling our mission and vision over the coming years.
12. WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT YOURSELF AND WHY? I have always taken pride in my ability to merge seemingly opposite worlds into a single innovative solution. I often find myself at the crossroads of art and technology, impact and revenue - I think this grey zone is where the heart of real innovation lies and I am happy that it has always felt like my comfort zone.
13. WHAT'S ONE THING YOU CAN IMPROVE ABOUT YOURSELF, AND WHY DO YOU THINK YOU HAVE NOT DONE IT BY NOW?
I haven't been very kind to my body lately. While I manage to balance work and personal life quite well, I find myself constantly on the go. My body needs rest, and I know I can't maintain this pace forever. However, I haven't taken enough breaks because I genuinely enjoy what I do and the company I keep, making it difficult to simply relax and do nothing.
14. WHAT'S THE BEST PIECE OF ADVICE YOU'VE EVER RECEIVED OR GIVEN, OR BOTH?
Remember that success is defined by you - so if you want to be successful, take some time to define what success means to you. It is important to remember that what it means is different for everyone, but knowing your own definition brings you much closer to achieving your version of it - than those who let others define it for them.
15. ON A SCALE FROM 1 TO 10 - 10 BEING THE BEST. HOW WELL DO YOU THINK YOU AND YOUR TRUTH STORY IS CLEARLY UNDERSTOOD BY YOUR COMMUNITY? ( WHY NOT 10? ) We're asking our community to reimagine their relationship with technology, to see their mobile service not just as a utility, but as a tool for positive environmental change. This is a paradigm shift that takes time for people to fully grasp and internalize.
Some members of our community might resonate more with our environmental mission, while others are drawn to our innovative business model. Bridging these perspectives and helping everyone see the full picture - how profit and purpose can coexist and even amplify each other - is an ongoing journey - So I would say 8 out of 10.
16. WHO DO YOU MOST ADMIRE AND WHY? The person I most admire is Carl Pei, the co-founder of OnePlus and now Nothing. His innovative approach to product development and marketing, particularly his belief in the power of community, resonates deeply with me and aligns closely with our vision at Worthmore.

I love cooking; I see it as both a hobby and a scientific experiment.
Creating new recipes and discovering new flavors in the kitchen makes me happy and relaxed, especially after a long day at work - especially once the meal is finished and I get to enjoy my creation.
20. WHAT WAS THE LAST THING YOU TREATED YOURSELF TO AND WHAT DID YOU CELEBRATE? Every once in a while, I find myself at my favorite beach in Copenhagen, lighting up a small campfire (it's so cool that it's legal here) and enjoying some music and drinks by the sea under the stars. It's an activity I'm very grateful to experience so close to home, and it's one of the few places I go to relax and reset. I don't need a particular reason to go there (and didnt have one the last time), but it definitely is a treat.
