Simon is the Founder of MedVerse - The SaaS Platform That Enables The Medical Industry To Create And Deliver Interactive And Immersive Training & Education Solutions. He has taken the challenge to answer our 20 Truth Questions, For us to gain some insight, And learn the Truth about the person behind the venture.



My TRUTH Story:

1. INTRODUCE YOURSELF IN THE THIRD PERSON TO A CROWD OF 10,000+ PEOPLE?

Simon is an ambitious and innovative entrepreneur with the mission to successfully build new solutions creating a lasting impact. Simon is born and raised in Munich Germany and from a young age was instilled with the values of commitment, teamwork and discipline through professional sports.


With an academic background in business and economics he is now well equipped to apply his pragmatic and optimistic mindset to solve the problems that matter and assemble the right teams to execute a shared vision.


2. WHAT IS YOUR DEFINITION OF A TRUTH FOUNDER?

For me, a "Truth Founder" is passionate and has a personal motivation that is much stronger than any commercial incentive.


A Truth Founder is able to transport their passion onto their team, partners and peers and is eager to achieve something extraordinary together with others.


A Truth Founder is fulfilling their own dream, dreaming big and improving every day because they love the challenge and the journey.


3. WHAT EVENT OR EVENTS HAPPENED TO YOU THAT INSPIRED YOU TO BECOME A FOUNDER?

More then an event, my education (especially in university) showed me that creative & pragmatic problem solving is best utilized in a founding position as it will create the biggest impact.


Therefore I was eager to put this to the test!


In addition, I realized that being dependent on the opinion and agenda of others is not something that allows me to bring the best result I know is possible.


4. WHAT IS YOUR MORNING ROUTINE & RITUAL? A minimum of 45 minutes (cardio) training before the first digital interaction.


5. WHAT MANTRA,QUOTE,LINE OR PHRASE DO YOU SAY OFTEN TO INSPIRE AND MOTIVATE YOURSELF? Well ... there is only one way to find out...


6. WHY DO YOU THINK PEOPLE SHOULD CARE ABOUT YOUR VENTURE? As for many other problems in society and different industries, education is the key to improve the status quo. The same is true for the field of medical education and training.


We are dedicated to using new technologies and making them accessible to create a lasting impact in education for all medical professionals that ultimately will improve the quality of patient care.


7. WHY DO YOU THINK YOU ARE THE ONE TO MAKE YOUR VENTURE A SUCCESS?

I am convinced that I will be the right person to assemble the correct team to make our venture a success.


My goal will be to create the foundation for this team to exceed their own expectations and to keep them motivated and on the right track while applying my skills in creative and pragmatic problem solving.


8. WHAT DOES SUCCESS LOOK LIKE FOR YOUR VENTURE? ( START WITH: IMAGINE A WORLD... WHAT IF... WE WILL BE... )

Imagine a world, in which high quality medical education becomes more accessible by leveraging the power of new technologies.


Imagine a world in which doctors, physicians and all healthcare professionals can learn together and interact without geographical barriers or hurdles.


Imagine a world in which (m)education becomes interactive and obtaining knowledge becomes intuitive with your fingertips.


We will be the leading platform for immersive and AI powered device education in the medical field.


We will be a company worth working for with a cause making a lasting impact.


9. ANSWER THESE AS MANY TIMES AS YOU LIKE - I BELIEVE... I DON'T BELIEVE... I believe that true joy comes though achieving great things with your team.


I believe that a problem well defined is a problem half solved.


I believe that you are able to create your own success.


I believe that having the courage to start is the beginning to the story of your life!


10. WHAT'S ONE DECISION YOU MADE AS A FOUNDER THAT COMPLETELY CHANGED THE COURSE OF YOUR JOURNEY? My decision to ask for help, and not seeing it as a weakness - this has opened more doors than I could have ever imagined.


11. WHAT DO YOU REGARD AS YOUR GREATEST SUCCESS PERSONALLY & AS A FOUNDER? As a Founder: Developing people to exceed their own expectations, and to help them create better opportunities for themselves in the future.


Personally: Shaping and building a high performing sports team more the 5-times over.


12. WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT YOURSELF AND WHY? I like my optimism, and that i am encouraging.


13. WHAT'S ONE THING YOU CAN IMPROVE ABOUT YOURSELF, AND WHY DO YOU THINK YOU HAVE NOT DONE IT BY NOW?

To learn to face the most challenging topics head-on, and to prioritize tasks even better to become as effective as i can.


14. WHAT'S THE BEST PIECE OF ADVICE YOU'VE EVER RECEIVED OR GIVEN, OR BOTH?

Be the person that gets the job done, people will realize and appreciate it naturally.


15. ON A SCALE FROM 1 TO 10 - 10 BEING THE BEST. HOW WELL DO YOU THINK YOU AND YOUR TRUTH STORY IS CLEARLY UNDERSTOOD BY YOUR COMMUNITY? ( WHY NOT 10? ) Very difficult to say as my community is both from a business background and not from a business background at all.


In addition, I see myself only at the beginning of my own story/journey, so I guess there is many thing that are unclear and yet to be defined.

I like to cook some tasty food and enjoy it with good people around me.


20. WHAT WAS THE LAST THING YOU TREATED YOURSELF TO AND WHAT DID YOU CELEBRATE? A proper vacation and personal time off, after the successful closing of our funding round.
