1. INTRODUCE YOURSELF IN THE THIRD PERSON TO A CROWD OF 10,000+ PEOPLE? Sascha Schick lives in Kirkel-Limbach Germany and is the CEO of AnyHelpNow. He gained over 20 years of experience in strategic planning, digital transformation and innovative business models. He worked as Global Director for Digitalization and IT at amcor. Before that he worked for Dr. Lauterbach & Partner, an IT consultancy. After successfully founding a job portal for doctors called ‘praktischarzt’. He is now devoting himself to his new venture.
2. WHAT IS YOUR DEFINITION OF A TRUTH FOUNDER? A Truth Founder is someone who is honest with themselves and others. Someone who values his team and knows he couldn't do it without his colleagues. Someone who knows his company by heart.
3. WHAT EVENT OR EVENTS HAPPENED TO YOU THAT INSPIRED YOU TO BECOME A FOUNDER?
The pandemic and spending so much time with my family has shown me that I would like to be closer to them. Before, I was traveling a lot and responsible for markets in Asia and America. With a new company here in Germany, I can better combine work and family in the long term.
4. WHAT IS YOUR MORNING ROUTINE & RITUAL? First and most important – I need a coffee, everyone knows that my nr. one rule is to get a coffee – I'm very happy to talk afterwards.
5. WHAT MANTRA,QUOTE,LINE OR PHRASE DO YOU SAY OFTEN TO INSPIRE AND MOTIVATE YOURSELF? Nothing is impossible! I really like to step out of my comfort zone and do believe that with the best team you can achieve everything you like!
6. WHY DO YOU THINK PEOPLE SHOULD CARE ABOUT YOUR VENTURE? Because anyhelpnow is just for them. For people. It is meant to inspire mutual help, to share and to create connections. I would like to make the availability of services as easy as online shopping. Fast and easy. People who need help are offered solutions to their problems.
7. WHY DO YOU THINK YOU ARE THE ONE TO MAKE YOUR VENTURE A SUCCESS?
I don't believe I am the only one who will lead us to success. It's our team that's behind it all.
8. WHAT DOES SUCCESS LOOK LIKE FOR YOUR VENTURE? ( START WITH: IMAGINE A WORLD... WHAT IF... WE WILL BE... )
Imagine a world where services can be booked as easily as shopping online. With just a few clicks you can find the right help. From private helpers or even directly matching companies.
9. ANSWER THESE AS MANY TIMES AS YOU LIKE - I BELIEVE... I DON'T BELIEVE... I believe the best team matters most.
I believe you will be successful if you are in a positive mood.
I believe if you work hard you will manage.
I believe that sometimes you need to “release” pressure to finally win.
I don’t believe that success is connected with being “lucky.”
I don’t believe that you can trust everyone straightaway– build your own picture.
10. WHAT'S ONE DECISION YOU MADE AS A FOUNDER THAT COMPLETELY CHANGED THE COURSE OF YOUR JOURNEY? No one major decision or change so far.
11. WHAT DO YOU REGARD AS YOUR GREATEST SUCCESS PERSONALLY & AS A FOUNDER? Having found the right team. This is both a personal and a professional success for me. Moreover, not having let go of the idea. In the beginning, I continued to work early in the morning and late at night in parallel with my other job. That fact that I kept this up for so long is also a success for me.
12. WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT YOURSELF AND WHY? I want to understand things in detail – With that, I'll be in a better position to make better decisions.
13. WHAT'S ONE THING YOU CAN IMPROVE ABOUT YOURSELF, AND WHY DO YOU THINK YOU HAVE NOT DONE IT BY NOW?
Being more patient… really – that’s what I need to do.
14. WHAT'S THE BEST PIECE OF ADVICE YOU'VE EVER RECEIVED OR GIVEN, OR BOTH?
Stay yourself and be committed! Don't let others change you and don't blindly rely on others. Without a 100% focus on your own skills, It is difficult to build a successful business.
15. ON A SCALE FROM 1 TO 10 - 10 BEING THE BEST. HOW WELL DO YOU THINK YOU AND YOUR TRUTH STORY IS CLEARLY UNDERSTOOD BY YOUR COMMUNITY? ( WHY NOT 10? ) 8. It's not an easy product to understand, It can be complex, And not so self-explanatory.
16. DESCRIBE YOUR VENTURE - ELEVATOR PITCH STYLE? Imagine finding services is as easy as shopping online at Amazon. It's a quick and easy way to find someone to set up the closet, tutor your kids, a counsellor or a roofing contractor. No matter what service is - you can find it with a few clicks. All in one. Both parties are connected and accompanied all the way to the end. From the search to the conclusion of the contract and invoicing. At the same time; The platform also gives companies more visibility and a bigger audience.
17. WHAT IS YOUR CURRENT MISSION STATEMENT OR MESSAGE + MARKET FIT FOR YOUR VENTURE?
I want to help people, And bring them together.
18. WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO TO UNWIND AFTER A LONG WORK DAY?
I go for a run or have a drink with my friends.
19. WHAT WAS THE LAST THING YOU TREATED YOURSELF TO AND WHAT DID YOU CELEBRATE? A 5 day holiday with my family – I celebrated that my team is able to proceed without my involvement all the time.
