1. INTRODUCE YOURSELF IN THE THIRD PERSON TO A CROWD OF 10,000+ PEOPLE? Meet Sanya, a dynamic entrepreneur from Germany. After founding two startups and numerous strategic pivots on his entrepreneurial journey. Sanya fundamentally believes that the real value of a business idea lies in its flexibility, its ability to adapt to ever-changing circumstances and conditions. With the aim to make a positive impact, Sanya founded Sooley Insoles, hoping to aid millions in achieving better foot health and making customized orthopedic insoles more accessible.
2. WHAT IS YOUR DEFINITION OF A TRUTH FOUNDER? In my view, a "Truth Founder" is an entrepreneur who embodies authenticity, sincerity, and integrity. This individual cultivates and steers their startup with a genuine approach, remaining faithful to their initial vision.
3. WHAT EVENT OR EVENTS HAPPENED TO YOU THAT INSPIRED YOU TO BECOME A FOUNDER? Embarking on the journey of founding a startup has always felt innate to me, largely influenced by my father's lifelong self-employment.
4. WHAT IS YOUR MORNING ROUTINE & RITUAL? My morning regimen begins with forgoing breakfast in favor of preparing my children for kindergarten. Following this, I engage in a 10 km commute to work, either cycling or running. Upon arrival, I invigorate myself with a cold shower, followed by indulging in a large mug of coffee before I dive into my day's work.
5. WHAT MANTRA,QUOTE,LINE OR PHRASE DO YOU SAY OFTEN TO INSPIRE AND MOTIVATE YOURSELF? A mantra isn't necessary for my motivation. Each morning, I rise with an eagerness to begin my work and tackle challenges head-on. In fact, I'm not particularly fond of catchphrases.
6. WHY DO YOU THINK PEOPLE SHOULD CARE ABOUT YOUR VENTURE? I strongly feel that people should pay attention to my work as it addresses a prevalent issue affecting roughly 70% of Western societies. I am focused on providing a genuine solution to a tangible problem - the pain that many individuals experience in their feet.
7. WHY DO YOU THINK YOU ARE THE ONE TO MAKE YOUR VENTURE A SUCCESS? I believe I can make this venture a success because I am a visionary leader with strong strategic planning skills. My experience in risk management allows me to navigate challenges effectively.
8. WHAT DOES SUCCESS LOOK LIKE FOR YOU PERSONALLY AND FOR YOUR VENTURE? For my company to be successful, it is essential that we assist hundreds of people in alleviating their pain while simultaneously establishing a financially sustainable business.
9. ANSWER THESE AS MANY TIMES AS YOU LIKE - I BELIEVE... I DON'T BELIEVE... I believe that it is possible to simultaneously help people and build a successful company.
10. WHAT'S ONE DECISION YOU MADE AS A FOUNDER THAT COMPLETELY CHANGED THE COURSE OF YOUR JOURNEY? I don't believe that work necessarily drains your energy; Instead, It's the tasks that i don't love doing are the ones that deplete my energy.
11. WHAT DO YOU REGARD AS YOUR GREATEST SUCCESS PERSONALLY & AS A FOUNDER? I think the greatest success as a founder is to manage to just keep going.
12. WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT YOURSELF AND WHY? I find that my "bad" sense of humor and love for dad jokes are some of the things I like most about myself.
13. WHAT'S ONE THING YOU CAN IMPROVE ABOUT YOURSELF, AND WHY DO YOU THINK YOU HAVE NOT DONE IT BY NOW?
I should prioritize improving my decisiveness and assertiveness, which I haven't actively worked on because I also want to enhance my prudence, thoughtfulness, and restraint.
14. WHAT'S THE BEST PIECE OF ADVICE YOU'VE EVER RECEIVED OR GIVEN, OR BOTH?
The best piece of advice one can give to a startup founder is to stay persistent and resilient in the face of challenges.
15. ON A SCALE FROM 1 TO 10 - 10 BEING THE BEST. HOW WELL DO YOU THINK YOU AND YOUR TRUTH STORY IS CLEARLY UNDERSTOOD BY YOUR COMMUNITY? ( WHY NOT 10? ) Due to English not being my native language and being of German origin, I may find it challenging to effectively communicate emotions :-)
16. WHO DO YOU MOST ADMIRE AND WHY? Before Twitter, I held great admiration for Elon Musk, primarily because of his first principles theory.
17. DESCRIBE YOUR VENTURE - ELEVATOR PITCH STYLE? Sooley has a vision of a sustainable and healthy society. And we are ready to embark on our mission: To revolutionise the custom insole market with the help of our 3D scanning app, that enables millions of people around the globe to access custom insoles directly.

19. WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO TO UNWIND AFTER A LONG WORK DAY?
I love playing with my kids!
