Kasimir is the Founder of Promethion - An AI Piloted UAV Interceptor Defence System At A Fraction Of The Cost As Regular Defence Systems. Hhe has taken the challenge to answer our 20 Truth Questions, For us to gain some insight, And learn the Truth about the person behind the venture.

My TRUTH Story:
1. INTRODUCE YOURSELF IN THE THIRD PERSON TO A CROWD OF 10,000+ PEOPLE?
Kasimir is originally part Baltic, and part German. He loves science, knowledge and most of all different flavours of technology. A 0.25 dioptrin prevented him from becoming a navigation officer with jet flight training, So Instead, he studied ethics, international marketing and finance in a class of 12 at an Irish college.
Immediately after college, He founded a successful real-time CGI agency in 2012, pioneering visually brilliant and interactive real-time 3D animation. he later co-founded the SXT Retina Lab, an AI research and innovation think tank at the car rental company SIXT, which he subsequently led as Chief, Chief Scientist and Systems Engineer.
During the project, the team successfully built several proofs of concept for an automated car damage detection system that used AI to identify scratches and dents on passing cars with extreme resolution. In this context, He has used his obsession and experience with ultra-realistic real-time rendering to invent new neural network methods based on synthetic datasets, and to enable a wider adoption of A.I.
His core skills consists of building and executing connections between complex technical areas.
He is an innovator and entrepreneur at heart, always thinking beyond the boundaries of individual research areas. At the same time, He loves to be hands-on. He has built prototypes, and MVPs in a lab at the former Tegel TXL airport in Berlin, Germany.
He loves building with friends and co-founders in high energy environments and despises bureaucracy. He relentlessly pushes through hurdles if he sees a vision in front of him that he thinks is at least 5% feasible.
2. WHAT IS YOUR DEFINITION OF A TRUTH FOUNDER? A Truth Founder is someone who establishes a degree of empathy in each personal but also business level and applies this business ethics practise through and through.
Driven by vision and values, not by reward and valuations:
I do it because I want to do it with you.
I do it because I like the hypothetical outcome.
I do it because it will help others, no matter what.
I do it because someone has to do it.
3. WHAT EVENT OR EVENTS HAPPENED TO YOU THAT INSPIRED YOU TO BECOME A FOUNDER?
WWII & WWI refugees who came back after they lost everything.
They rebuild, lost it again and again and come back to build, No matter the cost or hurdles.
Secondly, I was at one of the first Falling Walls conference.The talks there inspired me to never give up, always stay on the edge and go forward. Believe in the capability of group think and individuals with edges.
4. WHAT IS YOUR MORNING ROUTINE & RITUAL? After bringing my daughter to kindergarden, it takes me 7 Minutes to arrive at my lab. On great days, I am basking in morning sun-light at the former landing strip of the Tegel Airport and think of what I want to achieve for that day. The thought alone of creating the image in my head, makes me so happy.
5. WHAT MANTRA,QUOTE,LINE OR PHRASE DO YOU SAY OFTEN TO INSPIRE AND MOTIVATE YOURSELF? Every day I face challenges that are sometimes expected, sometimes unexpected and sometimes overwhelming.
After a short period of frustration and anger, I start activating my resilience. I then usually start saying "Through me more of these, they will only make me stronger''
The more often I am beaten down, the more trained I am at getting up. I am already at a masters level, what is next..."
6. WHY DO YOU THINK PEOPLE SHOULD CARE ABOUT YOUR VENTURE? Europe is in denial. We think that freedom and peace is simply granted to us. We, everyone, has to take into account that the environment, the freedoms and peace we enjoy is not for free.
I am fighting for a technical, political solution that empowers nations to protect themselves without bloodshed. Without the war of human attrition. I believe we need to stop wars, stop encouraging wars, and stop enabling wars.
I am building an AI powered defence force for Europe and NATO to prevent, to protect and to create resilience.
7. WHY DO YOU THINK YOU ARE THE ONE TO MAKE YOUR VENTURE A SUCCESS?
My track record speaks for itself, but I can not do it alone. A one man show is still a one man show, no matter how brilliant one is. I am enjoying and thriving by finding individuals with similar mindsets and different skillsets. I am a holistic thinker but am also deeply vertically engaged within the technologies.
8. WHAT DOES SUCCESS LOOK LIKE FOR YOUR VENTURE? ( START WTIH: IMAGINE A WORLD... WHAT IF...WE WILL BE... )
We are building the foundation of micro-transportation, AI piloted, autonomous protection and resiliance.
What a world we could live in, where the 10% of GOV budget flow to those who need it in the world, instead of bloated defence projects? I want to be a part of that.
9. ANSWER THESE AS MANY TIMES AS YOU LIKE - I BELIEVE... I DON'T BELIEVE... I believe in honesty.
I believe in business ethics.
I believe in truth and honesty over politeness (but wrapping it up within politeness is ok)
I believe in a relentless pursuit of vision vs agile planning sprints.
I believe in humanity.
I don't believe any VC who writes "Early Stage" on his web-site.
10. WHAT'S ONE DECISION YOU MADE AS A FOUNDER THAT COMPLETELY CHANGED THE COURSE OF YOUR JOURNEY? Going for a cigarette with the leader of the largest European car company. After 15 people denied the project and said no, He said yes afterwards.
Also, not taking up an offer to move to Palo Alto, California when a VC asked me to do so.
11. WHAT DO YOU REGARD AS YOUR GREATEST SUCCESS PERSONALLY & AS A FOUNDER? Getting into a C-Level meeting with the largest chip manufacturer in Palo Alto. That enabled a 150 mio case.
12. WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT YOURSELF AND WHY? My resiliance and my way of thinking. It solves problems, gets me motivated, and helps me get up in hard times.
13. WHAT'S ONE THING YOU CAN IMPROVE ABOUT YOURSELF, AND WHY DO YOU THINK YOU HAVE NOT DONE IT BY NOW?
To stop trying to fund-raise in Europe. They do not believe that we are capable of doing it at the early stage. Everyone is begging me to stop and go to the US, but I am a hopeless romantic and still try the early stage route in Europe as well.
14. WHAT'S THE BEST PIECE OF ADVICE YOU'VE EVER RECEIVED OR GIVEN, OR BOTH?

16. WHO DO YOU MOST ADMIRE AND WHY? I don't admire.
17. DESCRIBE YOUR VENTURE - ELEVATOR PITCH STYLE?
NATO is weak against drone threats and defenceless against saturation attacks, especially in a war of attrition.
We solve this by building an AI Piloted UAV Interceptor defence system at a fraction of the cost of regular defence systems.
It can be produces in hours instead of month, It only need guidance, not supervision and it is re-usable.
18. WHAT IS YOUR CURRENT MISSION STATEMENT OR MESSAGE + MARKET FIT FOR YOUR VENTURE?
Leading Europe's defense transformation through AI-piloted aerial superiority solutions.
19. WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO TO UNWIND AFTER A LONG WORK DAY?
Play with my kids, read, talk, drink japanese green tea, go paradling or rock-climbing.
On weekends i may do some Japanese woodworking, tree climbing (rope srt) with the kids, and build huge rope swings.
20. WHAT WAS THE LAST THING YOU TREATED YOURSELF TO AND WHAT DID YOU CELEBRATE? I bought a large scale CNC router. The inception of our new business.
