My TRUTH Story:
1. INTRODUCE YOURSELF IN THE THIRD PERSON TO A CROWD OF 10,000+ PEOPLE?
Gero is a New Work Space Designer, Facilitator & Coach. Originally from the Cologne area, He and his wife bought an old train station in the woods and created Bahnhofszeit - A Space where New Work meets Slow Living. His brain is constantly active, he loves to create atmosphere, And loves food and bringing people together.
2. WHAT IS YOUR DEFINITION OF A TRUTH FOUNDER? A Truth Founder is someone who is really looking forward to bring change to the world.
3. WHAT EVENT OR EVENTS HAPPENED TO YOU THAT INSPIRED YOU TO BECOME A FOUNDER?
It wasn't really an event, it was more the lifestyle and the freedom which comes with it.
I believe you have to become truly independent when you are being creative, otherwise you can't freely create what you are looking for.
4. WHAT IS YOUR MORNING ROUTINE & RITUAL? I am more of an evening person; So past 7 pm my brain starts its second wave of working and brainstorming.
In the morning my routine is getting up too early because of my two kids. Then it's to get them ready for kindergarden and making my wife and me a great cup of coffee.
Afterwards I sit down, plan my day and journal before I start my workday.
5. WHAT MANTRA,QUOTE,LINE OR PHRASE DO YOU SAY OFTEN TO INSPIRE AND MOTIVATE YOURSELF? Old Ways Don't Open New Doors.
6. WHY DO YOU THINK PEOPLE SHOULD CARE ABOUT YOUR VENTURE? Because it's lovely; And it could be them to experience what we experience every day.
7. WHY DO YOU THINK YOU ARE THE ONE TO MAKE YOUR VENTURE A SUCCESS?
Because it's just me bringing it and keeping it all together.
8. WHAT DOES SUCCESS LOOK LIKE FOR YOUR VENTURE? ( START WITH: IMAGINE A WORLD... WHAT IF... WE WILL BE... )
What if success for Bahnhofszeit meant becoming the go-to destination for companies and individuals seeking a transformative work experience?
Success would mean fostering a thriving community of like-minded individuals and organizations who prioritize balance and creativity in their work.
It would involve expanding our reach, forging partnerships, and leaving a lasting impact on the way people approach work and life.
9. ANSWER THESE AS MANY TIMES AS YOU LIKE - I BELIEVE... I DON'T BELIEVE... I believe in the good of human beings.
10. WHAT'S ONE DECISION YOU MADE AS A FOUNDER THAT COMPLETELY CHANGED THE COURSE OF YOUR JOURNEY? Becoming a facilitator in my own venue.
11. WHAT DO YOU REGARD AS YOUR GREATEST SUCCESS PERSONALLY & AS A FOUNDER? I am still in the process...
12. WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT YOURSELF AND WHY? My flexibility and empathy for others. It helps a lot in my everyday life.
13. WHAT'S ONE THING YOU CAN IMPROVE ABOUT YOURSELF, AND WHY DO YOU THINK YOU HAVE NOT DONE IT BY NOW?
I could improve being more patient. Because i have to learn that it's all apart of the journey.
14. WHAT'S THE BEST PIECE OF ADVICE YOU'VE EVER RECEIVED OR GIVEN, OR BOTH?
To Never Loose Hope No Matter What!
15. ON A SCALE FROM 1 TO 10 - 10 BEING THE BEST. HOW WELL DO YOU THINK YOU AND YOUR TRUTH STORY IS CLEARLY UNDERSTOOD BY YOUR COMMUNITY? ( WHY NOT 10? ) If you mean my family, Its a 6 - Because they don't get it. It's too far from their daily experiences.
16. WHO DO YOU MOST ADMIRE AND WHY? Jesus, Because he was a revolutionary and a pioneer. And he kept on going, no matter the odds were.
