Hello everyone, my name is Dr. Arne-Rasmus Dräger, and I live in Hamburg, one of the most innovative cities in Germany. I stand before you as an AI developer and founder dedicated to transforming the realm of animal health monitoring through the power of Artificial Intelligence.
With a Ph.D. in Physics, my journey over the last decade has been a relentless pursuit of integrating AI into the welfare of our beloved animal companions.
2. WHAT IS YOUR DEFINITION OF A TRUTH FOUNDER?
A Truth Founder is someone embarking on an entrepreneurial journey fueled by authenticity, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to truth.
It's all about creating impact with honesty and genuine passion.
3. WHAT EVENT OR EVENTS HAPPENED TO YOU THAT INSPIRED YOU TO BECOME A FOUNDER?
The spark that ignited my journey came from a personal connection - My aunt, a horse stable owner, seeking a solution to monitor the well-being of her horses. This inspired the creation of ACARIS, a venture dedicated to leveraging AI for the health and safety of animals.
4. WHAT IS YOUR MORNING ROUTINE & RITUAL? With 3 children, mornings often get off to a dynamic start. When my children are on their way to school and kindergarten, my day starts with a yoga session followed by a hot coffee.
5. WHAT MANTRA,QUOTE,LINE OR PHRASE DO YOU SAY OFTEN TO INSPIRE AND MOTIVATE YOURSELF? Two mantras I often repeat are:
"I feel that my day was successful when I have contributed to making a difference in the world.''
“A successful day is when I spend my time getting one step closer to creating the perfect solution for our customers.''
6. WHY DO YOU THINK PEOPLE SHOULD CARE ABOUT YOUR VENTURE? ACARiS is not just a venture; it's a commitment to transforming the way we care for our animal companions. ACARiS is not an AI company building technology, we create solutions that are able to solve real world problems under real world conditions relying at the heart on cutting edge deep learning technologies and cloud computing.
7. WHY DO YOU THINK YOU ARE THE ONE TO MAKE YOUR VENTURE A SUCCESS?
I believe in my ability to navigate the complicated field of AI, big data, cloud computing combined with health monitoring.
My expertise and my ability to come up with non standard solutions based on my understanding of physics helps me to develop this technology in a targeted way.
8. WHAT DOES SUCCESS LOOK LIKE FOR YOUR VENTURE? ( START WITH: IMAGINE A WORLD... WHAT IF... WE WILL BE... )
In a world where every animal's health is meticulously monitored and safeguarded, ACARiS envisions a future where early intervention and care become the norm, preventing needless suffering and fostering a deeper connection between humans and animals for a better world.

I Don't Believe... in complacency; there's always room for improvement and innovation.
10. WHAT'S ONE DECISION YOU MADE AS A FOUNDER THAT COMPLETELY CHANGED THE COURSE OF YOUR JOURNEY? I had to make the choice between founding ACARiS in Germany or Ireland but I decided to start my journey here in Germany to contribute to the AI community in my home country.
11. WHAT DO YOU REGARD AS YOUR GREATEST SUCCESS PERSONALLY & AS A FOUNDER? As a founder, the greatest success is to see how ACARiS has a positive impact on the lives of countless animals and how the team pursues a common goal. Now with more than 15 employees.
Furthermore, It is important to me to create a better world for my 3 children using AI.
12. WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT YOURSELF AND WHY? My ability to blend scientific rigour with empathy, creating solutions that resonate with genuine care.
13. WHAT'S ONE THING YOU CAN IMPROVE ABOUT YOURSELF, AND WHY DO YOU THINK YOU HAVE NOT DONE IT BY NOW?
Finding more time for personal well-being amidst the demanding entrepreneurial journey.
14. WHAT'S THE BEST PIECE OF ADVICE YOU'VE EVER RECEIVED OR GIVEN, OR BOTH?
Learn to say no.
15. ON A SCALE FROM 1 TO 10 - 10 BEING THE BEST. HOW WELL DO YOU THINK YOU AND YOUR TRUTH STORY IS CLEARLY UNDERSTOOD BY YOUR COMMUNITY? ( WHY NOT 10? ) 2. For the first few years, I only focused on technology. That's why we are only now really investing more in marketing or expanding into new markets.

18. WHAT IS YOUR CURRENT MISSION STATEMENT OR MESSAGE + MARKET FIT FOR YOUR VENTURE?
ACARiS is on a mission to redefine the standard of animal care globally by providing state-of-the-art AI-driven health monitoring solutions.
Our goal is to make compassionate and proactive animal health management accessible to all by working with renowned universities in Europe in our space.
19. WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO TO UNWIND AFTER A LONG WORK DAY?
I relax by spending time with my children or philosophising about new ideas on long hikes with my fiancée (who also works in AI).
20. WHAT WAS THE LAST THING YOU TREATED YOURSELF TO AND WHAT DID YOU CELEBRATE? Last year I went on a longer vacation for the first time and went climbing in Costa Rica.
I celebrated how very proud i am of our team, which is an essential part of our success.
